Founded in 1965 by Sister Margaret Anne Inman Ph.D., Providence Speech and Hearing Center is the leading service provider to the speech and hearing impaired of Orange County. With over 40 years of experience, we have grown from a one room house to a multi-million dollar non-profit organization. Providence served over 21,000 appointments in 2008 to over 3,200 unique patients. We offer a full array of speech and hearing services for children and adults alike; and, because we believe everyone deserves the gifts of speech and hearing, we accept most major insurance companies and medical groups as well as providing grants, scholarships and financing options for patients from low-income families.

As the center of excellence in Orange County, Providence Speech and Hearing Center is proud to offer speech and hearing services for adults and children. Providence is the leader in Orange County for diagnosing and treating infants and children in need of speech and hearing intervention. Services to children include audiology and hearing care, speech language pathology, Providence Preschool, Jumpstart Early Language Intervention Preschool, and the Talk Two program for preschool children who are hearing impaired. The goal of our children's programs is to help empower children so they can be ready for and succeed in school.

Services provided to both children and adults include hearing evaluations and treatment for potential hearing loss, dizziness or specific ear diseases; speech and language evaluations and therapy for individuals with disorders or difficulties in areas such as speech, oral-motor, stuttering, or hearing. Providence serves all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
