IRVINE'S JAFFE NAMED NEW MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT PROVIDENCE SPEECH AND HEARING CENTER

Jaffe and Associates chief executive joins nonprofit organization.

ORANGE, Calif. – March 4, 2010 – Businessman Lewis Jaffe of Irvine has been appointed a new member of the Board of Directors at Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange, Providence Chief Executive Officer Linda H. Smith, RN, BSN, PHN, announced.

Jaffe has operated a boutique consulting practice since 2002, specializing in interim operating assignments, with a focus on strategic planning, turnarounds, mergers, divestitures and fundraising.

“In today’s changing world of business, fundraising and philanthropy, we are thrilled to have Mr. Jaffe join our board, and look forward to working with him as we enter a new development phase at Providence Speech and Hearing Center,” Smith said.

Earlier this year, Providence announced a new executive board, with President Bruce May, of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth; Executive Vice President Richard Van Dyke, of Imaging Plus, Inc.; Treasurer David Anderson, of UnitedHealthcare; and Secretary Robbie Nicoli, of USI of Southern California Insurance Services.

Providence Speech and Hearing Center, founded in 1965, is an industry leader providing wide-ranging speech, hearing and language services for adults and children.
