Providence Therapeutic Preschool provides a safe educational environment beneficial to both typically developing children and those with special needs. Our inclusive curriculum offers each child the opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively, with an emphasis on speech and language skills. The preschool had been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and earned a 5-Star Quality Rating from Orange County United Way “Success by 6 Program.”
According to the recent Orange County Register Best of OC special edition, Providence has been ranked as the No. 1 child-care center in Orange.
Providence Preschool is open from 6:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. We provide two full meals plus snacks each day. Our new school and playground facilities accommodate all children, including those in wheelchairs. All of the children that enter Providence Preschool are screened for speech and language disorders by Speech Pathologists at the school.
Our center also introduces special needs children into a mainstreamed child development program, including sensitivity training for all. A student/teacher ratio of 7:1 assures individual attention for each child and an emphasis on speech and language development and readiness for a regular classroom setting. Our staff is fully trained and devoted to meeting the emotional and developmental needs of each child through our stimulating environment and age appropriate activities.
